Rod Adapters

If you already own Parker Hale cleaning rods, you don't need new rods to use the Ballistol felt cleaning system. Our Parker Hale adapter kits fit grey rods with red handles (5.3mm), yellow rods with black handles (6.4mm) and 12 gauge shotgun rods.

Why use felts?

Wool cleaning felts soaked in Ballistol oil pick up fouling evenly along the whole bore and are gentler than brushes for routine cleaning. For heavy fouling, step up to brass-fibre felts. Starting from scratch? Our carbon cleaning rods are made for the system.
